So last week, I found a pattern for a cute "hand bag" and decided to make it. It ended up being a little smaller than the pictures made it look, but it was fun to make. I had left it out in the living room and along came a little girl who decided it was her purse! With no prompting, she put it on her arm and has been hauling it around for days. She will now put it on her shoulder and then wave bye, like she is going somewhere. It cracks me up. We have had to take it with us to get the mail, have had to put toys and paper in it, and pretty much just taken it with us everywhere. Of course, every time I tried to get a picture of her with it on her arm, she would take it off, so here is a shot with it somewhere between being on her shoulder and being completely taken off. I think the girly girlness has started!
This past week, Kenzie also discovered that with the lid off the ottoman (toy box), she can get to more toys more quickly. While she was throwing them out, and reaching to the other side to get more, she toppled in head first. She then decided it was just as fun to sit in the toy box as it was to play with the toys outside of it.
This is Kenzie standing up to her window in her bedroom. She is so miniature that her nose barely reaches the window sill, but she can pull herself up to it and loves to look out. Two weeks from today and she will be one. Crazy!! That year has gone so fast. We love Kenzie so much and she is such a joy.

Kenzie is so fun and cute. I love the picture of her in the box. Grace used to climb in the basket of toys too. To see her look out the window being just tall enough to take a peek is adorable.
Wow, we can't believe it has been a year either. Kenzie is adorable, and we hope you are all doing well. We still need to make it down and see your house.
Good thing I don't have a girl....we would be broke! You did a good job on the bag. Love the fabric!
