The Yard is In!

After much hard work and lots of help from neighbors and family, we finished our yard this weekend. We still need to put plants in and finish our play area and garden, but those are all things that we plan to do later. We are loving the yard!!! It is so nice to have grass. On Saturday, when we laid sod, we had such a great crew show up to help that we were able to lay 3,700 square feet in an hour. It was amazing! The pictures are the views from the front and the back.

We have really been enjoying the summer, even though it has been so hot. Kenzie is doing. great. She is three months today. Her throw up problem is getting a little better--we are now only getting barf about every other day. She is growing like crazy. We are loving watching her learn. She now will grab for toys and even hold them with both hands. She is also getting pretty good at holding her head up. It is fun to watch each little new thing she does. I get so excited about every little new development!

Kenzie had her first day at East Canyon on the 4th of July. She enjoyed the shade under the pavilion with Grandma while we practiced our wake boarding skills. In no time, our future wake boarder will be out on the lake instead of under the pavilion! Kenzie also had her first experience with fireworks. She slept like a log through all of them.

We have been trying so hard to get a picture of Kenz smiling, but haven't been too successful. She will smile until she sees the camera and then she gets really serious. She focuses so hard on looking at the camera that she won't smile. Here a few of the latest pics, with the closest things to smiles we could get. Without the camera, she is quick to smile and laugh.
