I'm Afraid we Have a Thumb Sucker

Last weekend we went the annual Llama Fest held at the Hare Krishna temple in Spanish Fork. A very interesting event--worth going to at least once in your life. It is quite entertaining to see the llamas run obstacle courses. The temple is also interesting. And, for those of you wondering what Hare Krishnas and llamas have to do with each other---nothing. It just happens that the people that run the temple own llamas and raise them there. India and Central/South American cultures together at the same time makes for a very unique cultural experience. Jared absolutely loved the Indian food that was served. He claims they make the best potato salad ever!

This week we mowed our side yard for the first time. We took Kenzie out to play on the grass for awhile. She loved it. It is nice to be able to go out on the side of the house where it is nice and shady in the evening.

The last funny thing of the week--last night, Jared put Kenzie down for her evening nap. When he walked in to check on her, this is what she looked like. She will finally suck on her binki, but I'm afraid she loves the thumb more!

I still can't get over how incredibly adorable she is! And good for the thumb-sucking. You'll never have to go into her room at night to put her thumb back in!

Kristee-
She is so darling!! Holy cow. I can't believe how much they grow. Don't worry-Thomas is a finger sucker. While it is hard right now trying to figure out how exactly to take that away, it was SO blissful for the last year.
