Kenzie has Arrived!

On April 10th, Kenzie decided to come into the world. She came one day early! She was born at 11:39 am. She weighed 6 lbs 6 ozs and was 19 1/2 inches tall. Kenzie has brown hair, but it is getting lighter every day. We are told by everyone that sees her that she looks like her dad. She is such a cutie and has been an excellent baby since the day she was born. She is a deep sleeper and hard to rouse when she has her eyes closed, but is a doll when she is awake.

She had a one week check up yesterday and everything checked out well. They did have to prick her heel for the PKU test and that was a little trumatic--real tears and some serious wailing, but it ended pretty quickly. She is in the 90th percentile for height and the 50th percentile for weight... pretty long and lean!

We are adjusting to the less than normal amounts of sleep at night, but are doing well. Kenzie and I are having a great time hanging out during the day and her dad loves to come home and play with her at night.
